Grandma’s Date Bars

 

Date and Nuts Yum!

16 Servings Prep: 10 Min. Bake: 25 Min. + Cooling
      Ingredients

    1. 3/4 cup sugar
    2. 1 1/2 cups bisquick
    3. 1 cup chopped nuts
    4. 1 cup chopped dates
    5. 4 eggs
    6. 1/4 cup butter (softened)
    7. Confectioners’ sugar

Directions

    1. Cream eggs, sugar and butter.  Add rest.  Pour into a greased 8-in. square baking pan.
    2. Bake at 325° for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool 1 hour. Dust with confectioners’ sugar. Cut into squares. Yield: 16 servings.
