My All Time Favorite Fall Recipe!!
12 Servings | Prep: 30 Min. Bake Time: 35 Min. |
Ingredients:
1/2 C. Butter softened | 1 pkg. Yellow Cake Mix |
1/2 C. Flaked Coconut | 1 can (20 oz.) Apples (drained) or 2 1/2 C. Fresh sliced Apples (4) |
1/2 C. Sugar | 1 tsp. Cinnamon |
1 C. Sour Cream | 1 Egg Yolk |
Directions:
Heat oven to 350. Cut butter into cake mix until crumbly. Mix in coconut. Pat mixture lightly into ungreased oblong pan- 13x9x2 in. building up slight edges.
Arrange sliced apples over crust.
In separate bowl mix sugar in cinnamon. In another bowl blend sour cream and egg yolk.
Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over apples, drizzle with sour cream mix. will not completely
cover apples.
Bake 25 min. or until edges are light brown.
Serve warm…..Don’t Over Bake!
